FUND RAISING FOR FOUNDATIONS

Traditional methods of conducting a fundraising event for organizations include:  bake sales, various product sales, raffles and solicitation for cash contributions.  These methods are promoted and/or carried out by volunteers who personally approach potential contributors.  These fund raising methods are tedious, time consuming and limiting.

In certain cases, volunteers are limited in their ability to promote fundraising efforts.  For example, organizations within a secondary school (non-profit clubs, drama clubs, choirs, marching bands, athletic teams, and the like) often recruit students to raise funds for various activities.  Schools will often be reluctant to endorse the consumption of unhealthy snacks such as candies, or to pressure students to engage in door-to-door solicitation.

The Internet is one of the greatest sources of novel fund raising ideas. You can find a multitude of fund raising related websites on the web. A large number of these sites contain great tips and advice that you can share with your group. There are even a few ways using the Internet that you can use for fund raising, without having to spend money.  Here’s our suggestion:   Click on the following link and look into the Fund Raising Section.
